1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between the guest and the Breitenbacher Hof (hereinafter "the Hotel") regarding the rental of hotel rooms, as well as all other related hotel services, in particular restaurant and wellness offers.

2. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

A reservation becomes binding as soon as it is confirmed by the hotel in writing, by telephone, or through a confirmed online booking. By booking, the guest accepts these terms and conditions.

3. Arrival and Departure

• Check-in: from 2:00 PM

• Check-out: by 11:00 AM

A later check-out is only possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Prices and Payment

• All prices quoted include the applicable statutory VAT and any local taxes, unless otherwise stated. 

• The agreed price is due and payable no later than the day of departure. 

• The hotel reserves the right to request a deposit or full payment in advance. In the event of late payment, statutory regulations apply.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the booking channel (e.g., direct booking, online platforms such as Booking.com, group reservations, or special offers) and will be expressly communicated to the guest upon reservation.

Unless otherwise agreed, the following applies:
In the event of cancellation after the agreed deadline or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the agreed room rate will be charged.

6. Guest Obligations

The guest undertakes to treat the room provided to them, as well as the inventory and all hotel facilities, with care. The guest is liable for any damage caused by them or their companions. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and public indoor areas (non-smoking hotel).

7. Liability

The hotel is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. The hotel assumes no liability for valuables brought into the hotel; guests are recommended to use the in-room safe. No liability is assumed for unattended items in public areas.

8. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior notification and approval from the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee. Pets are generally not permitted in the restaurant and wellness areas.

9. Restaurant and Wellness Services

Services in the restaurant and wellness area (e.g., sauna, massage, cosmetic treatments) are subject to availability and can be booked separately.
For appointment cancellations less than 24 hours before the start date or for no-shows, a cancellation fee of up to 100% may be charged.

10. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

German law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Freudenstadt, to the extent permitted by law.
